This morning I told Ethan that Mrs. Hsiao has a baby in her belly. Then, Ethan asked me if Mrs. Hsaio was going to spit her baby out of her tummy. We're not ready for that whole discussion, yet.

First kiss?? Ethan decided to plant one on Mia Cammarota while he was giving her a hug. We have now had discussions about who to kiss, when to kiss them, and where to kiss them. Who – only people you ask (except mom & dad), after the person says yes, on the cheek (only mom & dad on lips).

One of the things Ethan likes to do around the house is to "discover" in the dark. So this evening, he went inside our master bedroom closet to "discover" and I closed the door behind him after he went inside... Ethan: "Please don't lock the door, Daddy." Kane: "I didn't lock the door, baby. There is no lock on the door. See, there is only the door knob, no lock." Ethan: "OK, then please don't door-knob me in."

Christmas would not have been the same without some hilarious commentary from Ethan. We started a tradition this year by displaying a nativity scene in our den. But when we put it together, we left the baby Jesus out of the manger. We told Ethan that he could put baby Jesus in the manger on Christmas morning. So, this morning, we got up and handed "baby Jesus" to Ethan. He put the baby in the manger, looked at it for a second... Ethan: "Mom, where is his penis?"
