Snow Man

March 4, 2008
by CHANTELLE WAI

Wow - we had snow last night around 8 p.m. Ethan was already in bed, so he missed it. But, the ground, houses, and everything was covered when he got up this morning. So, after breakfast I let him go in the backyard and play - even though we needed to go to the grocery store. Sometimes, you just gotta go with the flow. I mean, really, how often do we get snow in Texas?!?!?

Ethan was SOOOO excited! He got his big dump truck, a shovel, small rake, and front end loader and headed outside. He spent quite a while trying to scoop up the snow, but it really was more like ice and was stuck to the grass. He resorted to "banging" it with his shovel & breaking it up. He had a great time running around and then I showed him how to scoop some snow that was on the concrete & the fence. He managed to fill his dump truck full then dump it out.

Check out the pics!
